Evidence
The Ecosystem research and development was ultimately challenged through field tests in residential care homes.
Those trials undertaken over a further twelve months evidenced substantially reduced churn, even greater reduced use of agency, a huge reduction in feigned sickness and absence and a recruitment process that when integrated into the established vetting and barring procedures led to hitherto unseen levels of residential safety.
The ecosystem improved safety by 20% within two weeks. Organisational safety levels increased significantly during the trial period. Home managers talk openly about how the ecosystem changed their homes and management styles. There are innumerable reports and analytics available with contact numbers of homes using the system who will share their experiences.
CQE hypothesised the solution to abusive carers in November 2015
CQE tested and refined the hypothesis through research – starting in 2016
Further testing and development continued until the last major innovation / development (greenshifts) in October 2017.
Outcome measures included: Safety Rating; Morale Rating; RAG Shifts; Sickness and Absence; Work-Related Stress
